2024-2025 BHS Band Registration

We are so excited to be kicking off our 2024-2025 band registration. There is a checklist of things that need to occur for a student to be completely registered for the BHS 2024-2025 Band:

  • Click Here to view and read the 2024-2025 Band Handbook. This year’s handbook contains more information than ever before pertaining to high school band.

  • Click Here to fill out the digital band registration.

  • Fill out the a hard copy of the needed band forms; these are seen on the last three pages of the handbook.  We have provided students with these forms during their band class. We must have these forms on file in hard copy format before students can attend any camps.

  • Attach a copy of the band student’s insurance card; we need this each year.

  • Register for the 3rd-period band class with the BHS Guidance counselors before band camp begins.  The counselors will be coming around the BMS/BHS students in the spring with registration information.

  • New Members must have a physical on file before attending any camp.  Your physician should have TSSAA physical forms available in their office.  Click Here for the TSSAA physical forms.

  • Be sure to be signed up for Remind.  We also utilize the Band application as a backup to Remind; our booster organization uses the Band app for parent contact. For Remind and the Band App, if you are a returning member of the BHS/BMS Band or guardian who is already signed up, there is no need to sign up again.

Please take note of these important points from the band handbook:

  • Students are required to attend band camp for membership. Specific dates and times are listed in the band handbook.

  • Aftershool rehearsals in the fall take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons until 5:00PM. These rehearsals are tied into the student’s grade.

  • Students are required to be at and perform at all band events. A tentative calendar can be found in the band handbook.

  • The 2024-2025 band fee is $550. This year, there are multiple options for paying the band fee. Band fees can either be paid through an installment plan, in full through cash/check in one of the band rooms, or as a $250 deposit due before the end of the school year, with the remaining balance due on the first day of band camp. If paying in cash, please have exact change, as we do not keep change in the band rooms.
