All-West Auditions - 11/12 High School

• High School 11/12 band students can audition for All-West 11/12 Band auditions, 11/12 All-West Symphony Orchestra, and jazz band. Each audition is a separate audition.

• For Band and Orchestra, the audition will consist of a prepared piece performed in its entirety, two of the twelve major scales that the audition committee will select, the chromatic scale, and sight reading.

• All scales must be memorized.

• For Jazz Band, the audition will consist of prepared music and improvisation.

• The orchestra auditions for the 2024-2025 school year will take place on November 23rd at Collierville High School. Audition times will be released closer to the event.

• The band auditions for the 2024-2025 school year will take place on January 11th at South Gibson County High School. Audition times will be released closer to the event.

• The cost for each audition is $10. This money will be collected closer to the audition.

• Flute players can audition on both flute and piccolo. It is two separate auditions.
