High School Ensembles
Concert Band
The Brighton High School Concert Band was founded in 1996 with the creation of the new Brighton High School in Brighton, TN. The award-winning band performs at various concerts throughout the Winter and Spring.
Marching Band
The Brighton High School Marching Band was founded in 1996 with the creation of the new Brighton High School in Brighton, TN. The award-winning program is a three-time Class AAA Bandmasters Champion, three-time Paragould Marching Invitational Grand Champion, and has won multiple class, caption, and grand championship awards since its inception. The band performs at Brighton High School football games, a variety of marching band contests, and various parades across west Tennessee.
The marching band consists of wind instruments, percussion, and color guard.
Jazz Band
The Brighton High School Jazz Band consists of traditional instrumentation instruments. The jazz band rehearses after school during the spring.
Winterguard
The Brighton High School Winter Guard is one of the newest programs added to the Brighton Band family. Introduced in the spring of 2014, Winter Guard is an extension of Color Guard that performs inside a gym instead of outside on a football field.
Winter Guard allows students the opportunity to practice flag, weaponry (rifle and saber), and dance skills in a more focused environment than out on a football field with a band. Winter Guard practices take place in the spring.
Percussion Ensemble
The Brighton High School Indoor Percussion section consists of percussion performers who rehearse and perform a retioire for only percussion instruments. Percussion ensemble practices take place in the spring.
